A crazy situation

Post by mysticdawn »

Love is definitely in the air

Moved my kribensis pair to a more relaxed tank today, and they've already claimed their nesting spot - can't wait to see how things develop over the next few weeks

By the way... my bronze corys in the same tank have been going at it since this morning

And a quick update on the demasoni babies - out of the 48 I 'harvested' last week, 47 are still swimming around... seriously, what am I supposed to do with all this fry? Guess it's time to get some new tanks set up

I'm beyond thrilled for you. Babies everywhere, it's amazing. You must be over the moon. I'd absolutely adore seeing some photos of the little ones.

You've been warned. Kribs can breed like crazy, so be prepared. Congrats on the new additions, by the way.

Just got back from my weekend getaway with the boyfriend and I've got some exciting updates to share. I took the Cory eggs with me, and thankfully the breeding container's got a heater and air stone to keep them cozy. His sterbai are also spawning, so I'll be bringing those eggs back home with me - perfect timing since I work from home and can keep a closer eye on them.

I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself, but I'm really hoping those Cory eggs will hatch soon. Fingers crossed. I'll post some pics once they do, but for now, I'm just waiting patiently.

As for the kribensis, I'm not sure when I'll be able to snap some pics of the fry - they're still hiding out in the nesting cave. But once they emerge, I'll be sure to share some updates and photos. After the weekend, I'll have a better idea of how everything's progressing and I'll be sure to post some updates.
