Sounds like you're on the right track. Just keep an eye on the Six Line. They're sneaky little guys and can turn on tankmates outta nowhere. Good luck!

That's a solid plan. The Clownfish might even help distract the wrasses from each other. Just don't skip on the water changes, wrasses are messy eaters.

I tried keeping a Six Line with a Melanurus in a 55 gallon. It didn't work out. The Six Line harassed the Melanurus nonstop. Had to rehome the Six Line. Bigger tanks are definitely better for this combo.

Never kept wrasses myself, but my buddy had a Six Line that killed everything in his tank. Just saying, be careful.

Yeah, 55 is pushing it. A 75 should be better, but it's still not a guarantee. Wrasses are hit or miss with personality.

If you're set on both, maybe consider a divider for the first week or two. Let them get used to each other's presence without direct contact. It's extra work, but could save you headaches later.

Another thing to consider is feeding order. Feed the more aggressive wrasse first to keep it distracted while the other eats. It's a small trick, but it can help reduce tension.
