Re: I’m devastated and miss them already
Glad to see you're back. What's the plan for the new setup?

Excited to have you back. Can't wait to see what you'll be stocking in this setup. Looks like a nice mix of plants in there, lots of anubias and Java fern, should provide a great environment for your new fish.

Yes, I have plenty of anubias and Java fern, including some unique varieties. I've added Anubias heterophylla and hastifolia, which are much larger than barteri, to create a beautiful background. There's also a lovely a. gracilis variant with differently shaped leaves. In addition to these, I've included various Echinodorus types, from the smaller grass-like tenellus to the bigger magdalensis, marbel queen, and even the large amazon swords like bleheri and amazonicus. A few lotos are also present, as I love how they produce aerial leaves.
I'm excited to see which plants will thrive in the high temperatures and what the ideal nutrient balance will be. So far, the plants seem to be doing well, producing plenty of oxygen. I was surprised to see oxygen bubbles even on the anubias today.
I think it's time to change the topic from "devastated" to "excited" about my new tank.
