I'm actually thinking of planning a shopping vacation to the US, not south of the border. Their pet store sales are unbeatable, especially when you consider the discounts and free delivery. I just scored an amazing deal on some tanks from Petco and saved about $50. If I were to travel to the US, I'd definitely take advantage of their tank sales to redesign my fishroom.

A shopping vacation sounds appealing, but I'd have to be really tempted by a sale to drive hours for it. I just had a moment of clarity in my fishroom, and I think I've figured out a way to repurpose some old racks and give the space a makeover that I'll love, all without spending a dime. Warm weather is a bigger priority for me right now than adding more tanks. The new setup will require some effort, but it should pay off in the end.

Still seems weird that tanks don't come with lids, have to grab those separately.
Some folks opt for open tops with LED lighting, so it kinda makes sense they sell lids separately.
