Just got back with two new peacocks this afternoon, one's lost a few scales in the bag during transport. Anyone else had this issue? Will they sort themselves out?

Provided the tank is well-maintained and clean, I'd expect the scales to regrow without any major issues. However, it's essential to keep a close eye on the affected area. If you notice any signs of inflammation, such as redness, or the appearance of fluffy white fungus, that's when you should consider taking action. In this case, adding some rock salt to the tank water can be beneficial. A general rule of thumb is to use 1-2 heaped tablespoons of salt for every 20 litres of tank water. It's crucial to leave the salt in the tank for a couple of weeks to allow it to take effect.
