Dead blue velvet shrimp care and advice

I took a look at my tank yesterday and noticed this blue thing just chillin' in there. Figured it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. But then I checked again and it hit me - it was a dead shrimp. No idea if it just got old or if something was wrong with it. Guess I'm a bit worried now.

Another one's gone, that's two in as many days. Guess I'll have to test the water parameters soon, see if I can figure out what's going on.
