I'm probably an oddball, but I've never been a fan of YouTube videos. The issues I have with them go way back, and it's mainly down to the poor production quality of most amateur videos. I mean, who can watch something that's constantly jumping around, out of focus, and doesn't stay on one topic for long? And let's not forget the unnecessary chatter. As for me, if I do end up watching a video, it's usually right here on the forum, and more often than not, it's Emeraldsea's fantastic guppy videos that catch my attention.

There's a plethora of content created by enthusiasts, but not all of it is necessarily beneficial. Many videos focus more on showcasing their setup rather than sharing valuable insights. Unfortunately, some popular videos also spread misinformation, making it crucial to sift through and find reliable sources that can genuinely help you learn and grow.
To be honest, I'm more of a multitasker when it comes to YouTube. I usually have videos playing in the background while I'm gaming.

I'm more of a fan of aquarium related content, but I have to admit I have a soft spot for some other channels. I occasionally watch videos on fish in the wild, they're really something else. I've also come across some great vids on fixing aquarium equipment, those have been lifesavers.

I just found this channel, Marks Shrimp Tanks, and the guy's got a serious shrimp obsession - he's running over 25 aquariums, with most of them packed with shrimp. Specialized in shrimp, he knows his stuff, but what's also impressive is his knowledge on water parameters and algae.
