managing excessive hammer coral branching
managing excessive hammer coral branching
I've got a bunch of leftover branching hammer pieces from a 1ft+ ball that broke during cleaning. It got bumped and now I'm left with multiple pieces I don't need. Anyone know of a place in Scottsdale, AZ where I can sell, trade, or give them away?

No way, I'm not giving you my address, haha. But for real, try posting some ads on Craigslist or Reef Central for super cheap frags - they tend to sell quickly and you can make some extra cash for your tank.

Sounds like a great problem to have, right. What about reaching out to your local fish store, the one you regularly shop at? I know we all buy stuff online from various vendors, but I still love visiting my LFS. If you've got a good relationship with them, why not give them a call and see if they'd be interested in taking some of your hammer coral frags off your hands? You could potentially trade them for supplies or even store credit, which would definitely help offset some of the costs of running your tank.
