Morning Feeding Time

Post by bajil »

Just dropped some Al's Freeze-Dried Blackworms into my 125-Gallon discus tank this morning. Check out the feeding frenzy: https://youtu.be/mRrlzgTvIJI

Those cubes are great, love the sound of them hitting the water - like a bunch of tiny little hammers. I'm sure your discus are making the same noise, just can't hear it in the video.
Your discus look fantastic, Roland!

Those little guys are something else - mine always seem to be on high alert, pecking at my fingers like crazy before I can even get them to stick to the glass.

Re: Morning Feeding Time

Awesome vid. I hold the cube and they go wild, fighting for it. Only do it once a day, the other time I use loose fdbw.

How do you feed them? In a cone or just let them float? I'm always worried they'll gulp down too much air.

You can see in the video, they'll stick to the glass for a bit if pressed against it. Floating's fine too, they'll still get 'em.
