I probably should've gotten more, but didn't wanna take the chance and now it's too late. The two are getting along great, chomping on fdbw and frozen bloodworms all day. Both still looking vibrant. The smaller one's filling out a bit. Guess only time will tell now. Yeah, prices were steep, but that's just discus.

Re: Got a new pair of discus

I'm really bummed out. Everything seemed fine, they were eating and pooping normally, just hiding after meals. They'd see me, come for food, eat, and then hide. I've been doing 50% water changes daily. Then out of nowhere, the smaller one started spinning, stopping, and spinning again. No idea what happened. It died about an hour after I took a video. Never saw it dash around the tank, just chased the food. They looked like they were doing great, even growing. And then this happened.

Tough break, did you ever figure out what went wrong?

Yeah, that little guy was coming along, looked like it was putting on some size too.
