UPDATE: It's gotten really bad, he's now practically lost his fin.
I've been adding aquarium salt with every water change, and I've also given esha2000 a try.
This is getting severe and it feels like time is running out.
All the water parameters still seem fine and I've managed to bring the pH down to a more suitable level.
I'm completely stumped, any new advice would be really appreciated.

Considering our limitations with prescription meds, I think it's worth exploring alternative treatments. Some folks have had success with Waterlife's Myxazin, so it might be worth giving that a shot instead of eSHa 2000.
