If you're gonna go with Corydoras, make sure the substrate is smooth. They're bottom dwellers and can hurt their barbels on sharp gravel. Sand or fine gravel works best.

Frogbit is great, but it can take over if you don't thin it out regularly. Just a heads-up.

Don't forget about lighting. If you're gonna have live plants, a basic LED light with a timer will do the trick. No need to go crazy with expensive setups unless you're doing high-tech plants.
