Finding online profiles for different fish species
I'm on the hunt for a website that has detailed profiles of fish species, specifically those found in Lake Inle. I'd love to get some recommendations on reliable sources. Normally, I'd head to the library, but it's closed for renovations at the moment.

I came across Seriously Fish - they've got a solid rep, might be worth checking out.

I agree with the Seriously Fish recommendation. Although it's a work in progress and some lesser-known species are missing, the content they do have is top-notch.

I've always relied on FishBase - the origins date back to the 70s, it's been my go-to source. Check out https://www.fishbase.se/search.php. Not sure about Seriously Fish, but FishBase has been consistently accurate for me.

I personally use FishBase for habitat information and scientific names. Seriously Fish has more developed profiles, but they're geared more towards aquarists, in my opinion.

I was forgetting, Encyclo-Fish. I came across this one while digging deeper - https://www.encyclo-fish.com/EN/index.php. Worth a look, it might fill in some gaps.
