comparing blue and yellow assessors

Post by brixo »

I've had my yellow assessor in the tank for a while now, a few months to be exact. I'm thinking of adding a Blue assessor, but I've done some research and it's not entirely clear if they'll get along. Apparently, they can be kept in small groups, but it's usually just a couple or a small group.

My tank's got a few other inhabitants already - I've got a purple firtideflow, two clowns, and a mandarin. It's a 120l tank, so I know I'm pushing my luck with the stocking levels, but I really want to give it a go.

Getting a blue assessor would be a dream, I've already ordered one for my new setup - £70 is a pretty penny.

How long has that yellow assessor been in your tank for, then?

Blimey brixo, you're probably banking on a thumbs up from Ski, but let's be real, we all know what he's gonna say - that yellow's had too much time to claim its turf. If you'd introduced the blue one first, it might've been a different story.

Honestly brixo, deep down you're probably dreading Ski's response, aren't you? I mean, you're probably thinking he'll say the yellow's had too much time to claim the tank as its own. If only you'd added the blue first, things might be different.

Honestly, I think it's gonna be a tough one, brixo. You're hoping Ski's gonna give you the thumbs up, but let's be real, the yellow's been in there for 4 months, it's probably gonna be super territorial. If you'd put the blue in first, maybe it'd be a different story.

Thanks for the honesty Ski, think I'll take your advice and leave it alone.
