information about mimic tang

Hey everyone, I've got a question - does anyone out there have experience with a half-black mimic tang? I'm curious about keeping one with my 2 clowns in a 30-gallon tank. I've checked a few websites, but the info seems pretty inconsistent. What kind of size can I expect them to grow to, and what's their typical temperament like? I'd really appreciate some help with this - thanks in advance!

A 30 gallon tank might just be able to accommodate a very small juvenile, but for an adult tang, I'd recommend a tank of at least 75 gallons. As for the size, I think they can grow up to 7 or 8 inches. Their temperament is pretty typical of Acanthurus species - generally non-aggressive towards other fish, but they can get territorial with their own kind.
