dealing with bottom feeders
I'm curious about keeping a bottom feeder with peacocks - would it thrive? Anyone have experience with this combo in their tank?

If you're referring to the Aulonocara species, I've had success keeping catfish with my peacocks. For a compatible bottom feeder, I'd recommend Synodontis multipunctatus or S. petricola, both of which are native to Lake Tanganyika and coexist well with peacock cichlids.

I've got Synodontis, Pictus, Bumblebee catfish, and BN plec in with my Peacocks - all thriving.
