Do i have enough space to add more fish to my aquarium?
Do i have enough space to add more fish to my aquarium?
I've got a 20 gallon high tank, its a community tank with 12 fish in it already. I was wondering if I could add a few more, I've got a good mix going on. I've got 3 octo dwarf, 2 albino corys, 3 peppered corys, 3 female marble mollies and 1 male yellow molly. Should I add more fish or is that pushing it?

Don't add more fish. Your mollies will breed like crazy and you'll end up with a bunch of baby mollies looking for a new home.
Mollies require hard water, we're talking GH above 250ppm and pH above 7.0. But the other fish you've got, they're from soft water environments with GH below 150ppm and pH around 7.0 or slightly lower.

I'm in Texas, so my water's naturally hard - we're talkin' high GH, high pH.
