Danio care tips
Just got a school of Zebra Danios and wanna make sure I'm doing this right. What's the ideal temp for them? My tank's at 72F but I heard they like it warmer. Also, how often should I feed these little dudes?

Re: Danio care tips
Zebra Danios thrive at 64-75F, so 72F is fine. They're hardy but prefer cooler water. Feed them small amounts twice a day, like flakes or micro pellets. Overfeeding's a common mistake, so keep it light.

Exactly. And if you wanna see 'em at their best, add some current. They love swimming against a gentle flow.

Mine are in a 20-gallon with a sponge filter and plenty of plants. They're super active, always zipping around. Temp's at 70F, and they're doing great. Just watch for nipping if you've got long-finned tankmates.

Danios are tough as nails, but they do better in groups of 6+. Less than that, and they might get stressed. Also, they'll eat almost anything, but variety's key. Try frozen brine shrimp once a week.

Yep, and they're jumpers! Make sure your tank's got a tight lid unless you wanna find 'em on the floor.

Mine share a tank with White Clouds and Corydoras. Everyone gets along fine. Just keep the water clean—weekly 20% changes work for me. They're not picky about pH, but stability matters.

Danios are the best starter fish, no cap. They'll tolerate beginner mistakes but still look awesome. Just don't crank the heat too high, and they'll be golden.

Thanks for the tips, y'all! Gonna adjust the flow and stick to small feedings. Appreciate it.

I've had mine for two years now. They're in a planted 30-gallon with a moderate current. They spawn like crazy if you give them plenty of cover.
