plants that don't need much care
plants that don't need much care
Looking for some easy plants that can survive my neglect. My tank's got low light, no CO2, and I forget water changes sometimes. What's the toughest stuff out there?
Re: plants that don't need much care
Anubias and Java Fern are good. They don't need much light or care. Just tie them to rocks or driftwood.
Re: plants that don't need much care
Yep, Anubias is a champ. I've got mine in a shady corner of my 20-gallon, no ferts, and it's still kickin'. Also, try Hornwort, it's basically unkillable.
Re: plants that don't need much care
I skip ferts most of the time. My Anubias gets by on fish waste and whatever's in the tap water. If you wanna push growth, a lil' liquid fert once a month won't hurt.
Re: plants that don't need much care
I don't fertilize mine either. They grow slow but steady. Just make sure your water isn't too soft, they like some minerals.
Re: plants that don't need much care
Got it, gonna try Anubias first. Appreciate the help, y'all.
