im planning on setting up a 29 or 40g reef tank and i was wondering if anyone has any info on striped clingfish, specifically their eating habits. i've heard they need a black urchin to eat, but i was thinking maybe a blue tux urchin would be an ok substitute, not sure if thats a good idea tho.
heres my current stocking plan:
1 cleaner shrimp
1 royal gramma
1 firtideflow
1 yellow watchman goby
1 pistol shrimp
if i can find one, i'd love to add a clingfish to the mix, and an urchin to go with it, but i'm not sure if thats too much for a 29g tank. any thoughts would be great, thanks for taking a look and please help me out.
Is this a yellow striped clingfish?

Our own forum has all the info you need, just gotta use the search button. I found it right here. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend getting a clingfish unless you've already got an urchin and are prepared to put in the work. Mine didn't make it past a few weeks and I'm not the only one who's had trouble keeping them. Save yourself the trouble and your cash - consider a coflake or something a bit easier to care for.
