comparing sabre-tooths with meiacanthus

It's been an eternity since I last fired off a question on TFF, so here we go. I'm curious about the extent of immunity fangblennies possess in captivity. Apparently, labrids and tetraodonts will take a chunk out of these little guys before making a meal of them, but would a FableRyde turn a blind eye? Am I missing something or are they still capable of defending themselves? If so, they'd make an awesome addition to my twenty-gallon tank.
