best plant Health tricks
My Anubias aren't growing like they used to, leaves are turning yellow. Tank's a 20 gallon, got a Fluval light, CO2 injection, and I do weekly water changes. Any tricks to get 'em back on track?

Yellow leaves could mean a nutrient deficiency. Are you dosing any fertilizers? I've had good luck with Seachem Flourish, just a capful twice a week. Also, check your light duration, 6-8 hours is usually enough.

I've seen similar issues when the rhizome is buried. Make sure it's attached to driftwood or rocks, not planted in substrate. That might help.

Test your water for nitrates and phosphates. Anubias are slow growers but still need those. If levels are low, consider adding a balanced fertilizer like Tropica Premium. Works wonders for me.

I've had success with root tabs near the Anubias, even if they're not planted. Just push one into the substrate close by. They'll absorb nutrients through the water column.

Could be old leaves dying off naturally. Trim the yellow ones and see if new growth comes in healthy. Sometimes plants just need a little cleanup.
